This is a role for someone who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving machining processes, and being heavily involved in the engineering side of production rather than sitting away from it.  The business manufactures complex aerospace components in a highly advanced machining environment using modern CNC technologies, sliding-head machining, and precision manufacturing processes.
