Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation within the defence, security and aerospace manufacturing sector, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Antennas to support the design, development, implementation and optimisation of manufacturing processes. This permanent role focuses on aerospace antennas and associated technologies, helping to improve production efficiency, product quality and manufacturing performance within a highly regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical manufacturing support for equipment failures, quality concerns and process inefficienciesCarry out root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actionsWork collaboratively with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Design and Test teams to resolve manufacturing issuesIdentify and deliver process optimisation, cost reduction, productivity and continuous improvement opportunitiesSpecify, design and integrate tooling, jigs, fixtures and other manufacturing aidsCreate and maintain production documentation, including work instructions and job routingsMonitor and analyse production data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesSupport RF testing, validation, performance verification and failure mode investigationsNew Product Introduction and Development:Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities throughout the product lifecycleManage manufacturing activities during the transition of products from development into productionSupport production readiness activities and successful product ..... full job details .....
