Manufacturing engineer
Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Glascoed.Key Responsibilities:Designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and qualityCollaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing solutionsConducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve production issuesEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standardsDeveloping and maintaining process documentation and work instructionsMonitoring production metrics and driving continuous improvement initiativesProviding technical support to production teams and troubleshooting operational problemsCoordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and servicesJob Requirements:Experience in manufacturing engineering within the Defence and Security sectorStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologiessomeone who has worked in a lab previouslyProficiency in using relevant software and toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBPSS security clearance to startAbility to work onsite from Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to consolidate 37 hours into 4 daysBenefits:Opportunity to work in a leading Defence and Security organisationPotential for ..... full job details .....
