Manufacturing Engineer - Wellingborough - Up to £39/hr - Inside IR35 - 6 month contractTo be successful in this role, you must bring proven, hands-on experience in low to medium volume machining processes, ideally gained in an automotive manufacturing environment. This is an incredible opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and make a real impact on the future of manufacturing.What You Will Do: Define and implement manufacturing processes for new production lines, ensuring efficiency and adherence to engineering standards.Identify and introduce innovative technologies to future-proof manufacturing operations.Oversee the installation and optimisation of new equipment, including CNC machines and sub-assembly systems such as pressure testing, washing, and part marking.Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing systems, driving cost reductions and continuous improvements through lean principles.Create and maintain essential process documentation, including Process Sheets, FMEA, Process Flow, and APQP.Lead problem-solving initiatives using recognised techniques such as PPS and DMAIC to address challenges and enhance processes.
