Manufacturing Engineer

We''re looking for an experienced engineer to join our client, a well known manufacturing business and play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance through continuous improvement, process development, and root cause analysis.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for improving existing manufacturing processes while developing and implementing new production methods to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity. Working closely with Production, Quality, Design, and Supply Chain teams, you''ll identify opportunities for improvement, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, tooling, and production methods.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Investigate manufacturing issues and carry out structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), Pareto Analysis, and FMEA.Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing (NPI), ensuring robust and efficient production ..... full job details .....
