Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our clients team in the nuclear industry. They are open to contract (inside IR35 or Permanent). The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the production team, authoring and developing production processes, and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and improve manufacturing processes by analysing current processes and authoring new processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with the production team to implement new processes and ensure that they are adhered to.Provide technical support to the production team in the event of production issues via a technical query process TQ''s.Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the quality of the finished product meets industry standards and customer requirements.Define and develop new tools and equipment to improve the manufacturing process.Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the viability of new manufacturing processes.Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance productivity.Experience in technical checking of parts to review any open non-conformances to enable closeout and confirm methods of change.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including nuclear safety regulations. ..... full job details .....
