Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do Improve production processes to raise output and cut waste, scrap and downtime Lead continuous improvement projects using lean tools (5S, SMED, value stream mapping) Write and update work instructions, routings and process documents Introduce new products and equipment onto the shop floor Investigate production problems and put lasting fixes in place Work with quality, maintenance and production teams to hit targets What you need Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or equivalent experience 2+ years as a manufacturing, production or process engineer Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools Able to read engineering drawings Hands-on, practical approach and confidence on the shop floor Nice to have Six Sigma Green Belt CAD skills (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) Experience with PFMEA and control plans ..... full job details .....
