Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive Sector

A leading manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in process engineering, continuous improvement, and new product introduction (NPI), looking to make a tangible impact across two key production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support NPI activities by attending project meetings and ensuring process governance.
- Lead PFMEA development and maintain robust Work Instructions.
- Collaborate with Quality teams to uphold standards through Control Plans.
- Act as a key stakeholder in change management processes (PCRs).
- Drive process reviews, line trials, and Run @ Rate activities.
- Promote standardisation and best practice sharing across both sites.
What You''ll Be Accountable For:
- Implementation and governance of manufacturing documentation and processes.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and systematic process audits.
- Ensuring alignment and consistency across both manufacturing locations.
What We''re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years'' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in project delivery and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
