We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for an innovative tech and engineering organisation operating within the UK defence space. You''ll play a key role in improving the way complex electronic and electro-mechanical products are assembled, tested and delivered.This is a hands-on Continuous Improvement role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and making measurable improvements across manufacturing operations.Responsibilities: Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve productivity, cost, lead times and qualityLead structured problem-solving using 8D, RCA, DMAIC and PSPIdentify and deliver Lean / CI projects from concept through to implementationImplement and improve PFMEA, 5S and Asset Care programmesInvestigate and resolve product non-conformancesSupport Production with electronics and hardware assembly, testing and troubleshootingIdentify manufacturing risks, issues and improvement opportunitiesWork closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Project teamsSupport Supply Chain improvement initiativesDrive a genuine culture of continuous improvement across the operationRequired Experience: Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous ImprovementGreen Belt ..... full job details .....
