Project Development Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer Location: Worcester (site-based) Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Sector: Medical Devices / Advanced Manufacturing Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role An innovative and rapidly growing medical device manufacturer is seeking a Project Development / Manufacturing Engineer to support the next phase of commercialisation and manufacturing excellence. The business operates within a highly regulated ISO13485 environment and is committed to delivering market-leading orthopaedic implant solutions. Backed by private investment, the organisation is focused on scaling operations while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer: This is a hands-on, detail-driven engineering position focused on driving manufacturing processes toward zero defects, improving process capability, and enhancing operational performance. You will: Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods Analyse process deviations, trends and performance data Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (Kaizen, VSM, PFMEA) Program and operate CNC machinery (including CAD/CAM interfaces such as AlphaCAM) Support validation, documentation and regulatory compliance (ISO13485, GMP) Assist in SOP creation, risk assessments (PUWER, COSHH) and training materials Maintain production equipment and optimise output Liaise with design and planning teams to ensure manufacturability ..... full job details .....
