Location: BristolDepartment: EngineeringReporting To: Manufacturing Group Leader - NPITravel Requirements: Some travel may be necessary between company sites, Customers, and SuppliersA specialist manufacturer renowned for producing high-complexity, ultra-tight tolerance components primarily for the aerospace, power generation, and airframe sectors, is now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing business.The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in enhancing their already impressive manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Process Development and Optimisation: Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for aerospace components. Create and maintain 3D models and CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Evaluate and improve existing production methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.Technical Support: Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with design and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.Tooling and Equipment: Specify, procure, and maintain production tooling and equipment. Develop jigs, fixtures, and other aids to support efficient manufacturing.Continuous Improvement and Quality Culture: Drive a culture of zero defects across the organisation.
