Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking talented and dynamic Manufacturing Engineers to join their team in Wolverhampton.As a Manufacturing Engineer, the successful candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting daily production and programme needs while liaising with suppliers and customers. Flexibility is essential, as occasional tasks outside normal remit and hours may be required. Summary:Start date: ASAPDuration: 6 months with potential for longerLocation: WolverhamptonPay Rate: 45.00 per hourHours: 37 hours per week - Rotating ShiftsEarly shift - Monday to Thursday 6.00am - 13.45pm and Friday 6.00am - 12.00pmLate shift - Monday to Thursday 14.00pm - 22.00pm and Friday 12.15 - 17.15pm Key Responsibilities:Approve drawings and provide essential production support.Control tooling, test fittings, and fixtures.Conduct nonconformance analysis.Create and update job routes and Bills of Material (BOM).Develop and maintain standard work documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Workbooks.Support New Product Introductions as applicable.Perform PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and PPAP (Product Part Approval Process).Manage production readiness and control, including real-time Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RRCA).Implement process improvements and conduct controlled builds.Create and maintain SIPOC models and process robustness tools.Coordinate quality corrective actions and identify tasks to optimise ..... full job details .....
