Manufacturing Engineer

We''re working with a growing RandD-led start-up/scale-up that is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to support the transition of new products from design and development into production. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with engineering, manufacturing and external suppliers to improve how products are built. What we''re looking for: Jigs, fixtures and tooling GDandT / engineering drawings CAD - SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, Inventor or similar Supporting manufacturing and production engineering activities Working with engineering teams to improve manufacturability Highly desirable experience: New Product Introduction (NPI) DFM / DFA / DFMA Taking products from RandD into production Working with Chinese manufacturers or suppliers Supplier/manufacturing liaison CE marking / product compliance Improving assembly processes, tooling and production readiness The role: You''ll work closely with the engineering team to make sure new products can be manufactured efficiently, consistently and at scale. This could include designing or improving jigs and fixtures, reviewing CAD and engineering drawings, supporting NPI projects, working with overseas suppliers and identifying design or production improvements.
