The Role of the Manufacturing Design EngineerThey are looking for a Manufacturing Design Engineer with a manufacturing background and excellent SolidWorks CAD experience.The Manufacturing Design Engineer will act as the vital link between design, engineering documentation and the workshop, ensuring CAD models, drawings and Bills of Materials are accurate, correctly structured and suitable for manufacture.The role will involve configuring and modifying existing mechanical equipment within a manufacturing environment, managing engineering changes and revision control, and maintaining accurate BOMs and engineering data within PDM systems.You will also review and validate existing and legacy CAD models, implement practical design improvements and work directly with Workshop Technicians to ..... full job details .....
