Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer Manual Turning and Milling / CNC Milling ProgrammerLocation: Letchworth Garden CitySalary: £18.00 £25.00 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekJob Type: PermanentAbout the RoleMy client is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join an established precision engineering and manufacturing business based in Letchworth Garden City.This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer with a strong background in manual turning and milling, together with CNC milling programming and CAD experience.The successful candidate will be involved in producing precision components, working from engineering drawings and using a range of manual and CNC machining equipment.Key Responsibilities Manual turning and milling of precision components CNC milling and programming Creating and modifying CNC programmes Using CAD software to design and prepare machining work Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications Setting and operating CNC milling machinery Producing one-off components and small to medium production batches Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods Checking dimensions and ensuring components meet required specifications Carrying out general machining and engineering duties Maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy Working safely and keeping the workshop and machinery organised Skills and Experience Required Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Machinist or similar Strong ..... full job details .....
