This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience operating Colchester manual lathes , XYZ Proturn lathes , or a toolmaking background to secure a well-paid weekend or permanent night shift position. The Role Operating Colchester manual lathes and XYZ Proturn lathes Manufacturing one-off and small batch precision components Working from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances Carrying out manual turning operations including facing, boring, threading and finishing Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards Working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Manual Turner Experience using Colchester manual lathes and/or XYZ Proturn lathes A Toolmaker with strong manual machining experience will also be considered Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude What''s on Offer Up to -30.00 per hour Weekend or p...
