About the Role
This position is for a Manual Miller to join a precision engineering environment in Garetts Green, Birmingham. The permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £14.50 to £19 per hour, depending on experience, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00. The successful candidate will operate manual milling machines to produce high-precision components, set up and adjust tooling, and monitor machining processes to ensure specifications are met. Key responsibilities include in-process inspection using verniers, micrometers, and gauges, making manual adjustments to maintain tight tolerances, and reading engineering drawings.
