Manual machinist

OverviewWild Recruitment are working with a leading Aerospace manufacturer and are looking for experienced manual machinistsResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual machine tools including Jig Bores, lathes and millsInterpret and work from complex engineering drawings and specifications.Produce and rework components to specified tolerances and surface finishes.Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTI''s).Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.Complete relevant production and quality documentation accurately.Work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure parts meet design intent and customer requirements.Required ExperienceProven experience as a manual machinist/tool maker in a precision engineering or aerospace environment.Skilled in working with a variety of materials and castingsProficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.Experience working to AS9100 standards preferred.Ability to use precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate documentation.Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering preferred.If you are passionate about machining and looking for an opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position as a ..... full job details .....
