Working within an established workshop team, the Manual Machinist will be responsible for producing precision parts using a range of manual machinery, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely and to required quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem solving and working as part of a skilled manufacturing team.Operating manual machinery including lathes, milling machines, drills, presses and an NC band saw to produce precision partsReading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce components accuratelyCarrying out quality checks using calibrated measuring equipmentMaking adjustments to ensure work meets required ISO quality standardsUnderstanding machining techniques and applying them to day-to-day production workTroubleshooting machinery and supporting basic maintenance to ensure efficient operationWorking independently while contributing effectively within a small workshop teamMaintaining good housekeeping and a clean, safe working environmentRequirementsThe successful Manual Machinist will have ..... full job details .....
