This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled manufacturing team where no two projects are the same, offering a diverse workload, modern facilities, overtime opportunities and a 2pm finish every Friday.The RoleAs a Manual Machinist / Toolmaker, you will play a key role in the manufacture, modification and repair of precision tooling and components, working within a dedicated engineering and toolroom environment.Key responsibilities include:Operating manual milling machines and lathes to produce precision-engineered parts and tooling.Using XYZ ProTRAK machinery where required.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances accurately.Carrying out fitting, assembly, finishing and modification work on tooling and components.Using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and other inspection equipment to maintain quality standards.Working closely with CNC machinists and other engineering colleagues to deliver projects efficiently.This Manual Machinist / Toolmaker position would suit someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, problem-solving and producing ..... full job details .....
