Manual Machinist - Milling/Turning

Our engineering client is looking for a Manual Machinist to work in their precision machining and assembly department in Lancing. Core Skills and Experience Required Experience in Production engineering and manufacturing. Milling and Turning Rotating equipment An ideas person / Hands on Mechanically and production minded Organised Good communication skills Striving for improvement of quality of process and product Striving for reduction of costs Advantageous Apprenticeship in general machining and/or mechanical engineering Manufacturing software Desired-Programming Siemens/Haas Description of Role Production engineering and manufacturing. Milling and Turning Rotating equipment General manual Machining Assist in the coordination of assembly and test activities when required Problem solving Working Times Candidates are required to work 5 days per week, with an expected working day of 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
