This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and hands-on machinist to join an established manufacturing environment, working with manual lathes, preferably XYZ, and producing components accurately to engineering drawings and required specifications. This role suits someone with a solid manufacturing background who is confident working independently, solving problems and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.Manual Machinist Responsibilities:Operate manual / conventional lathes, preferably XYZRead and interpret engineering drawingsProduce components accurately to required specifications and tolerancesCarry out quality checks and identify any issues during productionMeasure finished components using appropriate inspection equipmentDiagnose and resolve machining and production problemsMaintain a clean, safe and organised working environmentWork independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider manufacturing teamSupport continuous improvement and contribute ideas for improving processes and efficiencyThe ..... full job details .....
