About the Role
A Manual Machinist (lathe, boring machine) is required in Liverpool for a permanent position with a salary range of £38,000 to £55,000 per annum. You will join an established workshop team focused on manufacturing heavy machinery for rotating systems build and repair. The role involves manual machine operation, fault finding, and repair of electrical machines. Key responsibilities include wiring, crimping, electrical assembly, as well as maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting. Ideally, you will be time served with an apprenticeship using manual lathes, boring, and milling machines. This role offers a stable, long-term position within a specialist engineering environment.
