Our client is recruiting for a Manual Machinist to join their busy workshop! They are a major supplier of high specification engineering equipment and are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to operate manual lathes and produce precision components. Manual Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:  Set up and operate manual lathes to produce precision components to specification Produce parts to tight tolerances, working from engineering drawings and blueprints Carry out turning, boring, trepanning, roughing and finishing operations Work with Stainless Steel, alloys, brass, copper and plastics Use hand tools and basic maths skills for measurements and adjustments Carry out routine maintenance on machinery and tools Work alongside team members within fabrication and assembly processes Maintain a clean and safe working environment  The Ideal Manual Machinist:  Previous machining experience Good understanding of engineering drawings Experience using manual lathes Be willing to learn to use larger machines, ideally including Binns and Berry and a Horizontal Borer Preferably ...</description>
