This is a permanent position working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, within a busy engineering environment carrying out small batch precision machining. The Role: • Operating manual milling machines, pillar drills and lathes • Machining precision components for small batch work • Working from engineering drawings • Using measuring equipment to check components and tolerances • Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard • Working to production deadlines and targets • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment The Person: • Previous manual machining experience • Experience using milling machines, pillar drills and/or lathes • Must have previously worked within an engineering/manufacturing environment • Able to read and understand engineering drawings • Confident using engineering measuring equipment • Mechanically minded with a hands-...
