Manual Machinist / Turner required to join an ever growing and very well-established precision engineering company. Ideal candidate will have experience in Manual Turning and will live within a commutable distance of Halesowen Manual Machinist Job OverviewTo be able to interpret 2D drawing, specifications and route card instructions.Plan and work outDimensional inspection and layout "mark off" of component prior to start of machining.Operate the machine(s) manually.When required, basic programming of machine using Siemens controls.Check / inspect component at various stages of sequence and final inspection to ensure quality standards are achieved.Trouble shooting and making adjustments where necessary.Deburring components and ensuring they are safe for material movement.Use of overhead cranes. (LOLER Training will be provided)General TPM activities, swarf removal, coolant routine oiling and greasing of machine etc.Any other duties that maybe asked by team leader / manager that are within capabilities and Health and Safety parameters.Manual Machinist Job RequirementsPrevious experience with Manual TurningAt least 2 years experience within a Manual Lathe Turning and/or deep hole boring position (large scale machines preferred).The ability to interpret complex engineering drawingsLifting and slinging capabilitiesMust live within a commutable distance of HalesowenMust be available to work shifts - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Manual Machinist Salary and BenefitsFull time - ..... full job details .....
