As a Manual Lathe Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating manual lathes to produce components to drawing tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tool sheets
• Selecting appropriate tooling and work-holding devices
• Carrying out first-off inspections and completing quality documentation
• Maintaining production targets while working to controlled standards
• Following company procedures, Lean principles and SHEF requirements

As a Manual Lathe Setter Operator, your experience will include:

• Proven experience setting and running manual lathes
• A methodical and logical approach to machining and problem-solving
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
