This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who thrives on working to tight tolerances and wants to be part of a company that truly values craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration Reports to: Machining Cell Leader Job Purpose/Primary Objective The main purpose of this role will be: Operating manual lathes / mill Manufacturing small metal components using a variety of manual machines Key Accountabilities The main requirements and employee accountabilities are: Working to high tolerances Following engineering drawings Ensuring that components are machined to the correct specifications Completing relevant documentation Basic inspection of the completed parts Always adhering to health and safety requirements Working to high standard of quality finish components Good knowledge of measuring equipment i.e. vernier, micrometer. bore micrometer, etc Essential Skills and Experience The essential skills/experience required for this role are: Previous experience working with manual lathes / mills Good understanding of engineering drawings Ability to work to very high tolerances High attention to detail and appreciation of health and safety Desirable Skills and Experience The skills and experience we would like the employee in this role to have are: ..... full job details .....
