MEP SurveyorContract - London - 24 monthsRole Overview:I am currently seeking an experienced MEP Surveyor. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct visual inspections of mechanical and electrical systems in the common areas and central plant of social housing blocks. This role does not involve entering individual dwellings or conducting testing, but rather ensuring that systems are functioning as per design and regulatory standards.The ideal person will have a strong background in MEP systems, with hands-on experience in roles such as Clerk of Works or Commissioning Manager, and be skilled in performing on-site inspections and assessments.Key Responsibilities:Perform visual inspections of MEP systems in the common parts and central plant of social housing buildings, ensuring systems are functioning correctly and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Review and assess the installation and condition of mechanical and electrical systems in the central plant areas and communal spaces.Report any issues, faults, or discrepancies found during inspections, and make recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of any identified issues.Ensure all visual inspection findings are documented accurately, maintaining detailed records and progress reports.Assist in managing the maintenance of district-level services, ensuring these systems ..... full job details .....
