Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Site Manager Water (Contract) Location: Horsham, West Sussex Contract Length: 12 Months (Starting October 2025) Rate: up to £500 a day Umbrella/Limited Overview: A leading water and environmental infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) Site Manager to support delivery of a wastewater treatment project at an organic waste processing facility in West Sussex. This is a contract role, suited to a site-based professional with strong experience across mechanical, electrical, and EICA installations within the utilities or water sector. Role Summary: Reporting to the UK Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site-based MandE construction activities from planning through to commissioning. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, client stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all works. Key Responsibilities: Oversee mechanical, electrical and EICA installation works on site Manage construction programmes, planning, and scheduling of site activities Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, health and safety standards and site procedures Manage permit to work systems, including LOTO (lock out/tag out) protocols Maintain high standards of site welfare, safety, and quality documentation Coordinate and attend meetings with client, contractor and internal teams Conduct quality audits and ..... full job details .....
