MandE Site Manager

Linsco recruitment are looking to source a MandE Manager for a vacancy in Coventry with a large, well known and established construction business operating on a regional basis. Due to growth and expansion a M and E Manager is required to support the business on a full time and permanent basis.MandE Manager duties and responsibilities:Overseeing the design, installation and maintenance of essential services and equipment found in all buildings, including but not limited toWater, gas and electricity suppliesLighting, heating and air-conditioningICTSecurity systemsLifts and escalatorsEnsuring efficiency, quality and affordability across the design, installation and maintenance of all essential systemsEnsure all completed projects (homes, schools, workplaces etc) are healthy and comfortable places for the clientWork alongside estimators and construction delivery teams.Reviewing installation plans and specifications to ensure that they deliver what the building/client needs.Advising the design team on the co-ordination of services within the overall building design, for example, advice on how much space is needed above the ceilings to accommodate ventilation systems and other services.Reviewing prices for services work.Testing and checking installations.Making sure jobs meet building regulations and health and safety requirements.Attending meetings (client and s/c) and presenting ideas and progress reports to managers and clients.Advising clients on how the building services ..... full job details .....
