Goodman Masson are currently working with a social housing organisation in London to recruit for an interim MandE Project Manager.Rate - £350- £450 a day INSIDE IR35 umbrellaAbout the RoleReporting to the Compliance Manager, you ll play a key role in delivering mechanical, electrical, and energy-related services across residential and non-residential buildings.You ll be responsible for managing contractors, overseeing works on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee and supervise planned maintenance and responsive repairs, including: Electrical systems and testingFire alarms and emergency lightingLifts, door entry systems, and rewiringMechanical plant and equipment Manage contractors and consultants, ensuring works are delivered: SafelyOn timeWithin budgetTo high quality standards Design, specify, and supervise MandE works in line with: Current legislationBritish StandardsIndustry best practice (e.g. CIBSE guidance) Lead on energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including: Carbon reduction projectsRenewable technologies (e.g. solar PV)Energy performance assessments (EPCs, SAP calculations) Monitor energy usage and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce fuel poverty.Support compliance activities, including: Legionella risk managementHealth and Safety inspections and reporting (including RIDDOR where required)Liaison with asbestos ..... full job details .....
