Goodman Masson are currently working with a social housing organisation in London to recruit for an interim MandE Project Manager. Rate - £350- £450 a day INSIDE IR35 umbrella About the Role Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you''ll play a key role in delivering mechanical, electrical, and energy-related services across residential and non-residential buildings. You''ll be responsible for managing contractors, overseeing works on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee and supervise planned maintenance and responsive repairs, including: Electrical systems and testing Fire alarms and emergency lighting Lifts, door entry systems, and rewiring Mechanical plant and equipment Manage contractors and consultants, ensuring works are delivered: Safely On time Within budget To high quality standards Design, specify, and supervise MandE works in line with: Current legislation British Standards Industry best practice (e.g. CIBSE guidance) Lead on energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including: Carbon reduction projects Renewable technologies (e.g. solar PV) Energy performance assessments (EPCs, SAP calculations) Monitor energy usage and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce fuel poverty.
