Role: MandE Operative Location: Melksham, Wiltshire Rate: £30.00 per hour Hours: 50 hours per week Contract Duration: 6 Months Role Overview We are currently seeking experienced MandE Operatives to join an ongoing infrastructure project in Melksham, Wiltshire. The successful candidates will have proven experience within regulated utility, industrial, or infrastructure environments and must hold valid National Grid Authorisation and Slinger Signaller certification. You will support mechanical and electrical installation activities while ensuring all lifting operations, material handling, and day-to-day site works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with strict health and safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a specialist project within a highly regulated industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical and electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and site requirements. Support day-to-day infrastructure and engineering activities on site. Assist with the movement, positioning, and installation of materials, tools, and equipment. Perform lifting operations safely in line with Slinger Signaller responsibilities and approved lifting plans. Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other site personnel to ensure work is delivered safely and on schedule.
