MandE Manager - Mechanically BiasedLocation: Reading areaSalary: 85,000- 90,000 + travel + pension + healthcareWe are recruiting for a mechanically biased MandE Manager to join a main contractor specialising in life science projects with MandE values of up to 50m.Based on a project in the Reading area, due to run for the next two years, you will oversee MandE delivery from design through to practical completion. This opportunity would suit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager from an MandE contractor background looking to move into main contracting, or an MandE Manager with existing main contractor experience.The RoleManage the MandE works throughout design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.Review designs for coordination, buildability and compliance with project requirements.Coordinate MandE subcontractors, consultants and the wider construction team.Monitor progress against the programme, resolving technical and delivery issues.Oversee quality and health and safety across the MandE works.Manage commissioning and close-out activities to achieve practical completion.RequirementsA relevant mechanical qualification.A minimum of five years'' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager with an MandE contractor.Experience taking projects from design stage through to practical completion.A valid SMSTS qualification.Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services and the ability to coordinate wider MandE packages.Experience delivering life ..... full job details .....
