Overview We are currently seeking a Proposals/Tendering Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality tenders and cost proposals for mechanical and electrical (MandE) projects in the water industry (both clean and wastewater sectors). Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete tender submissions for MandE projects in the water sector. Interpret technical documentation, drawings, and client specifications to develop accurate and competitive proposals. Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and delivery) to gather technical and commercial input. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for inclusion in tender packages. Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, company procedures, and relevant industry standards. Support pre- and post-tender clarification processes, including attending site visits and client meetings as required. Maintain and improve pricing models, templates, and cost databases to support estimating efficiency.
