An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and ambitious housing developer based in Devon. With a strong pipeline of residential developments across the region, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Managing Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently from pre-construction through to final account. Managing a small team that will grow over the next 12-18 months and be involved in recruiting and developing that team whilst being hands on an overseeing your own project. 

Key responsibilities will include:

 - Managing and overseeing the commercial function across a number of developments
 - Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
 - Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
 - Valuations, variations and final accounts
