Managing Quantity Surveyor Manchester A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Manchester. Working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects valued from £200k to £10m+, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing risk, and supporting project delivery teams across a range of civil engineering, water, utilities and infrastructure schemes. The Role As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring robust cost control, forecasting, reporting and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Producing accurate cost and value reporting, forecasting and monthly CVRs Managing project cash flow and applications for payment Procuring and managing subcontractors from tender through to final account Administering NEC contracts and managing contractual change Identifying and mitigating commercial risks and maximising opportunities Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team Providing commercial guidance to project delivery teams About You To be considered, you will have: Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, water or infrastructure projects ..... full job details .....
