Managing Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester.Key Responsibilities:Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels to inform Group reportingCost management and project forecastingDrafting and updating a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plansCompile upstream applications for payment and cash managementResponsibility for subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accountingPreparation of project applications for payment to final account settlementLiaison with clients, client representatives, and other third parties on commercial issuesForecast predicted expenditure and cash recoveryIdentification and realisation of commercial opportunitiesProtect the company from commercial risksEffectively manage contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC formsEnsure main contracts align with corporate governance Job Requirements:Previous experience as a Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor in the construction industryFamiliarity with IChemE / NEC forms of contract and knowledge of Construction LawCommercial management and procurement experience of subcontractorsExperience of monthly forecasting and cost analysisMember of RICS or other relevant professional bodyCSCS cardKnowledge and experience in estimation Benefits:Competitive salaryCompany PensionLife AssurancePrivate Medical25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays If you ..... full job details .....
