With a project value of more than 1bn, this is an opportunity to join a landmark project that will have a lasting impact on the regions transport network.As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you''ll take a lead role within the commercial function, managing a team of Quantity Surveyors and overseeing the commercial delivery of significant civils packages from the very beginning of the project.The Role You''ll be responsible for leading commercial and cost management activities, working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and wider project team.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity SurveyorsManaging subcontract administration across civils and/or utility packagesCost management, valuations, forecasting and change controlCommercial management of project interfaces and associated risksManaging change and claims in accordance with the contractWorking closely with design, construction and client teams to identify and resolve commercial risksPreparing cost/value reconciliations, commercial reports and risk ..... full job details .....
