Managing Quantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a well regarded regional main contractor in Swindon. The business operates out of several regional offices across the South of England, undertaking projects across education, commercial, defence and heritage sectors valuing typically up to 25mil. The business has reported excellent profits year on year and are in a strong financial position. They''re now looking to expand the team with an additional Managing Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Managing Quantity Surveyor: As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects concurrently and will be responsible for the team members working on those schemes. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. Key Responsibilities as Managing Quantity Surveyor: Heavy involvement in bidding / work-winning Overseeing project procurement Overseeing CVRs and reporting upstream Involvement with any contractual disputes Management and developing of commercial team including appraisals Building and maintaining strong client relationships Key requirements for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role: Proven track record of overseeing multiple projects concurrently Strong understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract Experience managing and developing teams Must live within commutable distance to OxfordMust have the full right to work in the UK Whats on offer for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role: ..... full job details .....
