Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a civil engineering contractor who is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. In this senior role, you''ll lead on major projects, overseeing commercial strategy and ensuring successful delivery.

• Take full responsibility for the commercial management of major projects.

• Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring effective delivery and professional development.

• Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, and change events.

• Monitor commercial risk and contractual compliance (NEC contracts).

• Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts to ensure profitability.

• Collaborate with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to build strong relationships.

• Proven track record working for a civil engineering or infrastructure contractor.

• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a Similar.
