Managing Quantity Surveyor - Retail ProjectsLocation: Canterbury (flexible working / travel required)Salary: 90,000 - 100,000 + package (including car allowance)We are seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a portfolio of retail projects for a major client, including Marks and Spencer. Projects will range from smaller format fit-out schemes through to larger-scale refurbishments and developments.This is a key leadership role responsible for managing multiple projects and supporting commercial teams across a live programme of works.Key Responsibilities:Lead the commercial management of multiple retail projects from pre-construction through to final accountOversee cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor managementManage valuations, variations, and final accountsEnsure projects are delivered within budget and in line with commercial targetsProvide commercial reporting, forecasting, and risk management across the programmeSupport and mentor Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QS teamsWork closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project deliveryMaintain strong commercial control across live retail environmentsKey Requirements:Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Commercial ManagerStrong background delivering retail projects, ideally including MandS programmesExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent knowledge of commercial processes, contracts, and ..... full job details .....
