Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a well-established organisation delivering major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Essex.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with strong contractor-side experience and a proven background working with NEC3 contracts. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing commercial activities, overseeing project costs and supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and civil engineering projects.This role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take on greater commercial responsibility, oversee commercial performance and contribute to the continued success of a growing business.About YouYou will ideally have: Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a contractor or contractor-side consultancy environmentStrong experience working with NEC3 contracts, with a thorough understanding of contractual processes and commercial managementA background in infrastructure, highways, civil engineering or major construction projectsExperience managing commercial activities, including cost control, forecasting, valuations, variations, change management and final accountsThe ability to oversee commercial performance and support the development of junior commercial team membersStrong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and ..... full job details .....
