Managing Lawyer – Team Leader

An excellent opportunity to join a leading international law firm as a Team Leader Lawyer, supervising and managing paralegal teams across a broad range of projects. This is a hands-on leadership role offering exposure to high-profile matters, multiple practice areas, and innovative legal technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teams of paralegals on projects including document review and due diligence
• Brief and allocate work, oversee quality control, and provide day-to-day guidance and support
• Conduct pastoral and professional development conversations with paralegals
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and aligned with client expectations
• Contribute to the development of best practice guidance and training materials
• Liaise with external vendors and manage delivery against strict deadlines
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to advance the use of legal technology tools such as AI-driven document review and automated drafting
• Support wider initiatives including business development, marketing and recruitment activities

Candidate Requirements

• UK or foreign qualified solicitor (current practising certificate) or CILEX lawyer
• Proven experience supervising paralegals in a professional services environment
• Broad exposure to multiple disciplines (e.g. Litigation, Corporate or Real Estate) advantageous
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing competing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) with strong research and drafting skills

Hybrid working and salary up to -70,000
