Managing Director, Public Sector and Transport

Lead a team in developing target Public Sector and Transport accounts through hands-on involvement in acquisition, growth, delivery quality, client satisfaction, risk management, profitability, and team effectivenessWork across all four areas within Public Sector and Transport: Home Office and Policing, Tax and Welfare, Transport, Defense and National SecurityBuild strong partnerships and authentic relationships with clients’ executive teams, and manage the overall relationshipAssess client risk and mitigate on an ongoing basisLead business expansion by identifying and nurturing new engagement opportunitiesDevelop compelling and targeted account strategies that drive new account acquisitionManage client investments and a portfolio of projects to meet or exceed margin forecastsGrow as a Government and Public Sector thought leader by developing your professional network through association membership, speaking, and writing engagements, and community activitiesQualifications

12+ years of professional services experience, currently or tracking towards senior leadership or senior executive level10+ years of business development experience in the Public Sector and Transport industry with 5+ years in a leadership roleDeep expertise and relationships in Public Sector and TransportProven success leading new business development opportunities and selling solutions within existing and new client accounts, including proposal development experienceExperience with MSP/VMS, large complex procurement-led opportunities, and developing/selling opportunities on SOWsAbility to identify innovative solutions and solve complex technical/business problemsExperience leading a geographically distributed teamExperience running engagements, managing teams, driving outcomes, and identifying gapsTrack record of leading large, complex consulting engagements with senior-level client relationshipsAbility to establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammatesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or professional certificates are a plusRewards and Requirements
