Sourcing Capability Lead @ onsite with KPMGManager - Strategic Advisory ServicesKPMG''s Infrastructure and Government Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) team needs talented individuals who have a passion for built infrastructure. Our team supports government and infrastructure clients with their most complex challenges. We get involved in many fascinating projects. We develop strategies for the implementation of government policy, designing operating models that underpin public services. We structure holistic supplier relationships that create and maintain physical and digital asset systems.This role contributes to policy, regulation, service model design, operating model design and implementation, and procurement/commercial strategy within the public sector and infrastructure domains.What will you be doing?You will perform a critical role contributing to client workstreams, supporting business development, and helping our team to grow and develop.Generate hypotheses and take ownership in storyboarding in cooperation with the teamLead the design and delivery of small projects and / or large, complex work streamsProduce client ready deliverables that exceed expectations and require limited reviewTo work effectively with clients whilst delivering engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMGContribute to the development of the team and fostering our collaborative and supportive team cultureProvide timely feedback and coaching to your team membersWork on the development of our propositions and knowledge baseSupport the identification of on-sell / cross-sell opportunitiesBuild and maintain a strong internal and external networkDemonstrate high levels of drive, ambition, and ability to collaborate at high levels of intensityThe PersonApplicants will need the following skills and experience:Demonstrate deep expertise and an ability to generate insights in the sector with a demonstrated passion for working on critical issues facing the infrastructure sectorsExperience in the energy or water sector is a mustBackground in developing client operational and/or supplier delivery modelsAbility to lead parts of complex infrastructure delivery model design including commercial and procurement strategyAbility to display involvement in business development activity e.g. building relationships with clients during engagementsExperience in contributing to thought leadership and knowledge management activitiesBe comfortable handling ambiguity and changing client demandsStrong numerical capabilities combined with sound commercial acumenExcellent English written and oral communication skillsTo discuss this or wider Deal Advisory roles with our recruitment team, all you need to do is apply, create a profile, upload your CV and begin to make your mark with KPMG.Location and Working Arrangement
