SoundCafe Leicester is a small, friendly and ambitious charity which gives people who are homeless, vulnerable or socially isolated a regular opportunity to sing, be creative, meet people and feel part of a community. Our weekly sessions make a real difference to the people who attend. In 2024 we were honoured to receive the King''s Award for Voluntary Service. We are now looking for a Part-Time Manager to help us build on that success. What will you do? Working with our trustees, volunteers and partner organisations, you will help SoundCafe to: manage and develop our weekly creative cafe; support and encourage our volunteers; build relationships with partner organisations and funders; identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant applications; help develop SoundCafe; liase with, and support, the professional musician who leads our choir ensure our activities are well organised, inclusive and responsive to the people we support; and keep the trustees informed and involved It is a varied role, with plenty of opportunity to use your existing skills and to develop new ones.
