In This Role, You Will Be Involved In

Leading and delivering Commercial Due Diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side clientsAssessing market size and growth, customer and competitor dynamics, business models, and key value leversProviding investors with clear, insight-driven recommendations on target company positioning and commercial viabilityManaging client relationships, often directly with deal team principals and C-level stakeholdersSupporting deal origination efforts, including proposal development and go-to-market initiativesPlaying a pivotal role in building the CDD team within BearingPoint Capital UKDeveloping junior team members through coaching and project-based mentorshipWorking closely with colleagues across Europe to support clients across diverse industriesContributing to the development and execution of BearingPoint’s MandA growth strategy

We’re Looking For Individuals Who Can Demonstrate

Strong experience in an MandA advisory or strategy consulting roleProven track record of leading Commercial Due Diligence or strategy projects, preferably for Private Equity clientsExcellent commercial acumen and analytical thinking, with comfort interpreting market, financial, and operational dataExperience working with investment theses and transaction-critical questionsConfidence engaging with senior client stakeholders (e.g. CxOs, deal principals)Ability to lead projects and deliver under tight timelines in high-pressure deal environmentsStrong communication skills with a proven ability to create and present high-quality client deliverablesExperience in technology, healthcare, industrials, or business services sectors is a plusAn MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantageCandidates must have the right to work in the UK
