An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented VAT specialist to join a market-leading Indirect Tax Transactions team at Manager level. This group supports high-profile UK and international deals, advising on VAT implications across acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, IPOs, carve-outs, and supply chain restructurings.The role offers variety, technical challenge, and the opportunity to gain exposure to some of the most significant and complex transactions in the market, all within a supportive team environment.The Opportunity

Advise companies, lenders, and investors on the VAT impact of complex transactions including carve-outs, mergers, and demergersSupport client engagements by preparing VAT reports, transaction support documentation, and guidance on compliance with tax authority requirementsLiaise with HMRC on technical and compliance queriesWork closely with internal stakeholders to respond to VAT queries and spot opportunities to add valueBuild strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development initiativesTake responsibility for coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, helping to strengthen the team''s technical capabilityAbout You
